Determining routing and elaborating a detailed design at a grid operator — energy transition, AutoCAD/GIS, leading the engineering process through to buildable working drawings.
Organisation
The energy transition puts grid companies under significant adaptation pressure: houses and neighbourhoods going off gas, mass feed-in from solar panels. You will work in the connections & replacements department of our client.
Role & responsibilities
As a detail engineer you are responsible for determining the routing and elaborating a Detailed Design (DO). For execution you make working drawings in AutoCAD (and soon Electric Office after BMR introduction). You enrich asset data, do legal route research, commission environmental scans and check permits. You manage the engineering process, steer external parties and monitor progress.
Requirements
- MBO in electrical engineering, energy engineering, civil engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in energy / civil engineering / underground infra
- Experience with GIS
- Strong in planning and organising, accurate
- Good communicator in a rapidly changing environment
