For a utility company focused on water treatment we are looking for a project manager Civil / Transport pipelines. The project concerns a major water-extraction infrastructure to be embedded in a nature area. After a secondment period, a transition into a contract with the client is foreseen.
Role & responsibilities
As IPM project manager you lead a team of specialists with an eye for both water-extraction interests and nature interests. You manage the process with external stakeholders (stakeholder management) and at critical moments are the contact point for advisory firms, contractors and permit authorities. You have room to help professionalise project management within the organisation.
Requirements
- Minimum HBO degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Civil Engineering)
- Extensive experience in complex projects
- Strong stakeholder-management skills
- Experience with various project-control tools
